How is tagwrld different from buying NFC tags elsewhere?

Resellers sell blank NFC stickers or cards. You still have to design the card, find a printer, integrate the chip, encode URLs, run QA, and manage freight. tagwrld handles all of that — we deliver production-ready NFC trading cards straight to your warehouse.

What is the relationship between tagwrld and Swapnice?

tagwrld was spun out of Swapnice in 2025. Swapnice built the original Swap Badge technology and proved product-market fit with early brands. tagwrld takes that expertise and focuses exclusively on manufacturing NFC-enabled trading cards at scale.

What card stock and finishes are available?

Our standard is 36pt soft-touch trading card stock. Foil stamping, spot UV, matte and gloss finishes, and custom die-cut shapes are available — we'll spec the right combination for your run.

Which NFC chips do you use?

NXP NTAG 213, 215, and 216 are standard. For anti-counterfeit programs we offer NTAG 424 DNA with cryptographic authentication, and we can spec ICODE or custom chips for higher-memory needs.

Can each card have its own unique URL?

Absolutely. We support sequential, randomized, or imported lists of URLs and serial numbers from an approved CSV — every card in the run can carry its own destination.

Every iPhone from iPhone 7 onward, and virtually every modern Android device. No app download required — a tap opens your URL directly in the phone's browser.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Runs start at 500 cards, with tiered pricing at 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, and 10,000+ cards.

What's the typical lead time?

7–10 business days for 500–1,000 cards, 10–15 for 2,500, 15–20 for 5,000, and 25–35 for 10,000. Timing starts after artwork approval, a validated URL CSV, and payment.

Do you encode and QA every card?

Yes — every card is encoded to your URL or payload and tap-tested before it leaves the floor. A QA pass-rate report ships with every order.

Where do you ship, and what does fulfillment cost?

Accepted Answer

Worldwide. Fulfillment covers domestic receiving, inventory management, up to 30 days of storage, and bulk B2B pick/pack at $0.35 per card ($150 minimum); carrier postage and freight are billed separately.
