The idea was born
Swapnice launched as a marketplace to help people exchange collectibles safely and securely. The founding team saw how physical goods lacked a digital layer.
Building the MVP
R&D began on the Swap Badge — an NFC tag embedded into high-value collectibles to authenticate ownership and unlock digital experiences.
Beta goes live
With early interest from apparel and collectible brands, the first Swap Badge launched in beta. The team grew, tested, and iterated.
Growth
Swapnice officially launched the Swap Badge commercially. First paying customers signed on across fashion, music, and sports verticals.
Scaling the vision
The team traveled to San Francisco and raised funds to scale to manufacturing level — printing, encoding, and shipping NFC-integrated product at volume.
